The good folks at Vimeo must have rediscovered my CN 20th Anniversary montage this week. My first clue is my InBox. It looks like this.

Then, when I check the stats on my Vimeo page for the video, it looks like this.

Here's what all the fuss is about. Thanks Vimeo people (all 12,000 of you this week) for all the attention. The internet is a wild weird place.

Follow Up, a week later... The view totals topped 100,000 in the week and a half it was in the public consciousness.

Regular Show Season 6

It's nice to get back to some live action editing. And I always enjoying working with this group of folks. Billy Cone is one of the funniest guys I know. Bruce Hurwit is so talented as a director. The edit was a blast and Fay Salvaras did a wonderful job with the sound design. I hope season 6 for the show turns out a good as these promos.

James Garner

I always liked James Garner. My first memories of him were watching "The Rockford Files" He was so cool and down to earth. Later I became familiar with him in film. "The Great Escape" "The Americanization of Emily" and others. He was an actor I always enjoyed no matter what film he was in. Early in my career at Turner, I got a chance to cut a tribute to James Garner, who was then still a busy actor. He had recently finished "Space Cowboys" directed by Clint Eastwood. Mr. Eastwood provided the narration for the piece. It was one of the first pieces my good friend Sean Cameron, now director at TCM put together. A fun piece to work on, and a fitting tribute to the man on the day he passed. I'll miss you Rockford!
